About the role:
This is a results-focused sales role within the Used Equipment team, responsible for turning end‐of‐life rental assets into revenue. You will play a key role in driving fleet turnover and maximising return on assets, directly contributing to United Rentals' growth and asset replacement strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive used equipment sales across Australia, owning your pipeline and results
* Proactively source buyers through your network, market insights, and outbound activity
* Engage with end users, auction houses, and dealers to secure the best commercial outcomes
* Partner with branch teams to identify sale opportunities and accelerate asset disposal
* Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics
About you:
* Proven sales performer with a minimum of 3 years' experience, ideally in access and/or earthmoving equipment
* Highly motivated, competitive, and driven to win new business and close deals
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and maximise margins
* Self‐starter with excellent time management and willingness to travel
* Tech‐savvy and confident using digital tools for prospecting, marketing, and pipeline management
* A natural relationship builder who can influence customers and internal stakeholders to get deals done
