As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and proactive People & Culture Manager to join our Head Office team in Toowoomba.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will lead and deliver our people strategy while ensuring a positive, high-performing, and compliant workplace.
This is both a strategic and hands‐on position, responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle and partnering with leaders to drive culture, engagement, and organisational capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement People & Culture initiatives aligned with organisational priorities
* Provide workforce planning and strategic advice to the leadership team
* Monitor industry trends and legislative updates to ensure best practice
Culture & Engagement
* Foster a values‐driven, inclusive, high‐performing culture
* Lead engagement, recognition, and wellbeing initiatives
* Support leaders with change management and communication
Employee Relations
* Provide guidance on performance, conduct, and workplace matters
* Manage ER cases with fairness, discretion, and compliance
* Maintain strong working knowledge of Australian workplace legislation
Recruitment & Onboarding
* Oversee end‐to‐end recruitment processes
* Manage onboarding, induction, and probation frameworks
Learning & Development
* Identify capability gaps and implement development plans
* Coordinate compliance and leadership training
* Promote continuous learning across the organisation
Performance & Remuneration
* Support performance review frameworks
* Coach leaders in performance management
* Manage salary benchmarking and review processes
Policy, Compliance & Reporting
* Maintain and develop HR policies and procedures
* Ensure accurate HR systems and reporting
* Support audit and risk management processes
About You
* Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or related discipline
* Minimum 5 years' experience in HR advisory or management roles
* Strong employee relations and legislative knowledge (Australian workplace law)
* Proven recruitment, policy development, and HR operations experience
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* High level of discretion and professionalism
* Experience supporting organisational growth or change initiatives will be highly regarded
