Due to our continued growth, ORGANS COACHES in Kyneton is currently recruiting for a Full Time Workshop Manager. The Workshop Manager is responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the mechanical workshop. The Manager is responsible for budgets and for the purchase of materials and tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop.
Donric Group mechanics are crucial to the safety, reliability and road worthiness of our vehicle fleet. Your professional expertise and knowledge of Health and Safety, will ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
This is a hands on role, you will be working closely with the Management Team and your team of mechanics, apprentices and assistants.

The role will require but not limited to:
* Leadership and managing the workshop staff
* A current Victorian drivers licence with a HR or higher being advantageous
* Previous experience and Heavy Vehicle Diesel Motor Mechanic trade qualifications, having worked on buses or heavy vehicles is advantageous
* Assisting with preparing, maintaining and operating our Bus fleet
* Ensure work is inspected and signed off
* Sound computer literacy
* Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
* delegating and scheduling of daily jobs
* prioritising and supervising of repairs
* ensuring preventative maintenance is being carried out effectively and according to planned schedules
* able to attend break downs or delegate to the right mechanic
* maintain the workshop to the highest standards
* encouraging productivity and efficiency
* ordering and managing stock levels and inventory
* ensuring all maintenance records are current and correct
* ensure staff complete appropriate paperwork on a daily basis
* encourage a positive atmosphere in the workshop for all staff
* Excellent reading, writing and verbal skills
* Ability to work in a Team environment
* Be self motivated and work in a professional manner
