**Teaching Opportunity:**
We are seeking an experienced Teacher to join our team in the area of Human Society and its Environment at Mount Austin High School.
Our school is located on Wiradjuri Country, in Wagga Wagga, and caters for students from Year 7 to 12. The student population is diverse, with approximately 47% identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and 10% coming from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement engaging and inclusive learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals and improve student outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and apply classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
**Requirements:
The successful applicant will have approval to teach History (7-10) and Geography (7-10), and will be able to apply classroom management strategies that foster a culture of high expectations.

This is a permanent full-time position, and the successful applicant will be required to commence the application process for a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education at the same time as they apply for this teaching opportunity.
