Maintenance Fitter | SANECTOR Margaret River

SANECTOR is a dynamic organisation providing the Australian wine & beverage industries a comprehensive range of services relating to bottling, packaging, warehousing and distribution of wine and beverages.
We are seeking qualified and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our SANECTOR team based in Jindong, Margaret River (WA).
Shift Details: This role will be predominately for the Day Shift Monday to Friday with some on call work required.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending to maintenance, repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner
- Perform troubleshooting, planned preventive maintenance, minor installations & on equipment
- Perform work in a professional, timely and safe manner within SMYA Safety and Environmental management systems
- Assist to identify, document, and implement improvements to maintenance work methods/procedures to improve machine availability, quality, and safety
- Contributing to plant upgrades and reliability improvements
- Work with and assist outside contractors as required
- Understanding of a Planned Preventative Maintenance System (PPMS).
What You Will Bring
- Australian recognised Mechanical Trades qualification and relevant tickets
- Over 2 years of industry experience, including working with manufacturing and maintenance teams
- Experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably Beverage or FMCG industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
