MPI are currently seeking experienced Fixed Plant Fitters to join our client’s gold mining operations in WA.
About the role:
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of fixed plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation of the processing plant.
Key duties:
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance on crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, thickeners, and screens
- Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical equipment
- Inspections and component change-outs
- Contributing to safe work practices and supporting continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
- Recent fixed plant maintenance experience in the mining industry (gold processing highly regarded)
- EWP ticket – essential
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets – desirable
- Robust safety focus and ability to work effectively within a team.
