A professional and loving family in Coomera are seeking a kind, fun loving and patient nanny to care for their active and social 2 year old boy and calm and happy 3 month old baby boy.
The days and normal hours are:
1 day - 5 hours (alternating days each week)
Friday 2.00pm - 7.00pm (week 1)
Saturday 2.00pm - 7.00pm (week 2)
An ideal nanny would be experienced, with a warm and nurturing approach. A nanny who is bright and bubbly, patient, eager to have fun and open to engaging with the children, taking to the park and providing stimulating and age appropriate educational play. Being competent, secure and careful with the baby is paramount.
A nanny that is calm and nurturing with great communication skills.
The role will consist of mostly caring for the two children. Additionally, some light household chores and contributing to the smooth running of the household.
The nanny must be comfortable with mum being home sometimes.
The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows -
To care for the toddler and baby
Follow the baby's routine
Bottle feeds
Play and engage age appropriate creative activities to assist in the baby's development
Taking children for walks to the park
Basic meal preparation for the toddler
Walks to local parks
Tidying of playroom and cleaning up after children's activities
Ironing and folding washing (if time permits)
Bath time and bed time routines
The family's expectations from their nanny are -
3 years experience as a nanny or working in child care
Young baby experience
Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
Have a current working with children's check number
Display strong communication skills and speak English
To be fit, healthy and active
