Position Overview
We are seeking a Child Care Director to manage the Marayong service on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Director will lead day-to-day operations, deliver a high-quality program of care and education, and supervise centre educators and workers to maintain effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the child care centre.
Develop and implement a high-quality care and education program for children.
Oversee supervision and professional development of centre educators and workers.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and council policies.
Collaborate with council staff and community stakeholders to promote inclusive and culturally appropriate services.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Recognised University Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (3- or 4-year qualification).
Completion of Child Protection Course – Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm.
Meet all requirements for an Authorised/Nominated Supervisor as listed in the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations ****.
First Aid Certificate.
Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training meeting ECS National Regulations ****.
Minimum of 2 years experience as an Authorised/Nominated Supervisor in a child care setting.
Working With Children Check Number and clearance of National Police Check.
Desirable
Current class C driver's licence.
Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
Remuneration and Benefits
Entry level salary of $1,****** per week.
35-hour working week.
Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight.
