We are currently recruiting for a Testing and Commissioning Manager to join our dynamic Adelaide-based team.
The role involves leading and managing all testing and commissioning activities for Control and Monitoring Systems (CMS) across design, delivery, and implementation phases, primarily in the transport and rail industries.
We are looking for a go-getter with passion and drive who will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
* 1. Leading testing and commissioning activities, including FAT, SAT, SIT, and system assurance.
* 2. Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Testing and Commissioning Strategy, Plan, and Procedures.
* 3. Planning and scheduling testing activities to align with project programmes and milestones.
* 4. Coordinating with design, engineering, construction, and integration teams to ensure system readiness.
* 5. Managing system interfaces between CMS and other subsystems (e.g., ITS, SCADA, communications, and field devices).
* 6. Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors supporting commissioning activities.
* 7. Monitoring progress, managing defect tracking, and overseeing close-out processes.
* 8. Ensuring compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and relevant Australian standards and safety regulations.
* 9. Supporting operational readiness, training, and handover to operations and maintenance teams.
* 10. Contributing to continuous improvement of processes, systems, and methodologies.
The successful applicant will have:
Qualifications
* 1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, Control, or related discipline).
* 2. 10+ years industry experience in testing and commissioning, preferably in transport/rail projects.
* 3. Proven experience with CMS, SCADA, or similar control systems.
* 4. Strong understanding of system integration, commissioning processes, and project delivery.
* 5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* 6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* 7. Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team.
* 8. Ability to travel regularly to project sites.
This position is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents based in Adelaide.
