The role
EFI Furniture is seeking an enthusiastic Delivery Driver & Installer to join our team based in Coolaroo, VIC 3048. In this casual role, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and installation of our range of furniture products to our customers business.
What you'll be doing
1. Carefully loading, transporting and unloading furniture items using a company vehicle
2. Delivering furniture to customers' specified locations and ensuring a positive customer experience
3. Safely and efficiently installing furniture items according to manufacturer's instructions
4. Providing excellent customer service and troubleshooting any delivery or installation issues
5. Maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle
6. Adhering to all relevant workplace health and safety policies and procedures
What we're looking for
1. Valid driver's licence and experience driving a van or light commercial vehicle
2. Car licence (C class) is required for this position
3. Must be able to drive Manual
4. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with customers
5. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
7. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture items
8. Ability to lift furniture items up to 20kg
9. Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends and public holidays
