The Role: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef De Partie – Pizzaiolo to be a key player in our Italian-inspired restaurant. If you have a love for Italian cuisine and a commitment to excellence, we want you on our team. You’ll be instrumental in delivering authentic Italian dining experiences while upholding our high standards of quality. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to !): Prepare, cook, and present a variety of traditional and contemporary Italian dishes. Craft traditional pizzas from scratch, ensuring authenticity and quality in preparation. Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring the efficient use of ingredients and minimising waste. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Contribute to menu planning, portion control, and cost management. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. Assist in the setup and organisation of kitchen operations for the hotel’s opening. Uphold the brand’s culinary standards, contributing to an outstanding dining experience for our guests. Who Are We Looking For? Previous experience as a Cook or Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment, with a strong background in Italian cuisine. Proven experience in pasta making and a passion for creating exceptional Italian dishes. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Culinary qualifications (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent) are desirable but not essential. Impeccable grooming and presentation standards.
