We’re looking for an experienced Onsite IT Support Officer to provide hands‑on, face‑to‑face technical support to end users, systems, and onsite infrastructure.
This role is ideal for a Level 2 IT professional who enjoys being embedded onsite, taking ownership of issues, and keeping critical IT services running smoothly. You’ll act as the key escalation point from remote Level 1 support and play a vital role in maintaining operational stability.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and printers
* Resolve escalated incidents and service requests from Level 1 support
* Support Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications
* Assist with servers, virtual environments, and basic networking
* Manage user access and permissions (Active Directory)
* Perform hardware installs, replacements, and upgrades
* Investigate incidents, document resolutions, and meet SLA targets
* Escalate complex issues to vendors or specialist teams when required
* Support IT projects, technology rollouts, and operational improvements
* Follow security, compliance, and change management processes
About You
You’re calm under pressure, customer‑focused, and take pride in seeing issues through to resolution.
You’ll bring:
* Proven experience in a Level 2 IT support role
* Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and OS environments
* Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365
* Working knowledge of Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint management
* Clear communication skills and a professional onsite presence
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with wider IT team
Nice to Have
* Exposure to servers or virtualised environments
* Experience with ITSM tools (HaloPSA, ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk)
* ITIL Foundation certification
* Experience in regulated or operational environments
