The Logistics Operator is responsible for controlling the movements of goods into and out of the warehouse, from receiving raw materials through to dispatching consumer products. The role supports customer service and serves internal (manufacturing and engineering) and external (regional warehouses) customers. The work is performed in an air-conditioned environment and does not require heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
* Follow relevant Quality Management System procedures to deliver quality products and services and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Handle and store items in the appropriate manner.
* Manage inventory by ensuring ERP transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner to maintain stock levels.
* Ensure items are labeled appropriately and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
* Report non-conformances or deviations from standard processes.
* Pick, pack, issue, and replenish materials for manufacturing and engineering in a timely and efficient manner.
* Pack items as per set standards defined in the work instruction, conduct final inspections, and record results.
* Perform receipt and inspection of materials using appropriate methodologies in Oracle.
Qualifications / Skills
* Strong computer literacy and experience with Oracle, SAP, or a similar ERP system.
* Ability to lift and move loads of up to 10 kg.
* Pick & pack experience is desirable.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions.
* Able to do repetitive work and be process driven.
