About the role
You will work as part of our Patient Support Team in our custom‐built Inbound contact centre in Osborne Park.
As one of 80+ team members, you'll sit in a vibrant and busy environment and take responsibility for being the first point of contact for our patients and their medical teams.
This is a permanent, full‐time role. Your shifts will be allocated between the hours of 8am and 5.30pm, Monday – Friday (with occasional Saturday mornings).
Reporting to your Team Leader, you will:
* Provide patient‐centric customer service with a focus on quality, efficiency, empathy and consistency
* Interact with confidential and private medical information
* Take a high volume of calls from our patients and their medical teams, other medical professionals, insurers, lawyers and other third parties, and our contract holders
* Facilitate bookings and confirmations for a range of medical imaging appointments
* Work with the patient to understand their needs and coordinate their appointment(s) to ensure they are booked at the earliest moment at the most convenient time and location for them
* Receive and cross‐check referrals
* Provide information to ensure patients are appropriately prepared for their specific appointment(s)
* Manage requests for results
Who we're looking for
* Strong customer service background (call centre, hospitality, retail, reception, sales etc.)
* Success working in a fast‐paced environment, demonstrating patience, resilience and empathy when interacting with customers
* Desire to work in a role which demands excellence in patient/customer care and the delivery of positive patient/customer outcomes
* Strong track record of reliability in work attendance, diligence in delivering work outcomes and high trust built with peers and managers
* An ability to communicate with and effectively assist people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds
