MAIT Industries is a market leader in Commercial Irrigation, Monitoring and Control Systems with Solutions for Turf, Agriculture and the Environment.
Position Description
MAIT Industries is seeking a versatile and highly motivated person to join our dynamic support team.
The successful candidate will provide customer support on our software and hardware solutions, update CRM, remote system commissioning, plus a range of in-house operations including, but not limited to diagnosing PCB issues, PCB repairs, soldering, testing and basic documentation.
This role requires a high level of initiative, communication and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Software and Hardware Support: Provide professional software and hardware support to our agents and end users via phone and email, to diagnose and rectify issues in a timely manner.
Log calls and emails into CRM package.
Assist our agents, end users and their installers via phone and email for installation of equipment, system commissioning and troubleshooting/fault finding of our hardware and software.
Evaluate and repair circuit boards to a component level.
Create and modify basic documentation relating to wiring and configuration.
Desired Qualifications
Certificate III in Electronics or similar (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Prior Experience
Experience with phone support and CRM usage.
Experience with soldering, reading of schematic diagrams and datasheets.
Completed a technical apprenticeship or willing to undertake one (desirable).
Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office products.
