There are two permanent full-time positions at our Broome and Karratha campuses available for immediate filling.
North Regional TAFE is seeking to establish a recruitment pool to appoint suitable applicants as vacancies arise. This is an open pool recruitment process which means there is no closing date for applications and the following should be noted:
* you can submit your application at any time.
* assessment of applications is expected to be conducted every 3 months; however, we may assess applications at other times depending on operational needs
* applications received after the above date will be included in the next round of assessments
* you will be advised of the outcome and will have the opportunity to seek feedback and reapply at a later date should you be found unsuccessful
* North Regional TAFE reserves the right to extend or cease advertising at any given time in the future.
Applicants found suitable will be placed in the pool which may be used to fill full-time, part-time, permanent or fixed-term vacancies with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency.
Appointments may be made for a period of 24 months starting from the day following the closure of the breach period. Please note that being placed in the pool does not guarantee your placement in a position.

About the Position
This position will be delivering Certificate I, II, III, IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management; Certificate II and III in Horticulture and associated short courses and skill sets such as chemical handling and chainsaw at Karratha and Broome campuses. Considerable travel will be required for this role.
To be successful, you will have the following…
* Significant relevant industry/ vocational or lecturing experience (minimum of 5 years)
* Relevant vocational qualifications and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed including:
* minimum Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (or equivalent) or;
* minimum Certificate III in Agriculture, Horticulture or similar with significant industry experience in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
It is preferred that applicants already possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or can demonstrate willingness or progression towards achieving it.
