Officer Administration People and Culture - Fixed Term

Remuneration: Annual salary commencing at $74,172, plus up to 13% superannuation

Role Overview*

Gympie Regional Council has an exciting full-time fixed term position for approx. 6 months, with the possibility of an extension. The successful applicant will provide administrative and customer service support for the People and Culture Branch.

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

* Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to consult, communicate and solve problems effectively in a multidisciplinary environment within set guidelines.
* Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to produce high quality documents with attention to detail.
* Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures including time management, planning and organisational skills to maintain deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team in a professional and positive manner with the ability to be tactful and discrete when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature.
* Queensland 'C' Class driver's licence that is current and maintained.

Essential Requirements:

* Provide administrative support, including word processing, data entry, report writing, correspondence and records management.
* Assist in special projects.
* Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
* Prepare, append, reconcile and record financial information via councils online requisitioning system.
