Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team in Burnie. This is a permanent full-time opportunity that requires strong organizational and communication skills.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support at our Burnie site, ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations. Key duties include accurate data entry, purchasing processes, and generating reports for site management.
About the Role
* As an Administrative Officer, you'll play a vital role in providing administrative operational support, with a focus on production and maintenance.
* You'll be responsible for managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence from internal and external stakeholders, as well as ensuring timely and accurate creation and maintenance of records and data.
* Your attention to detail and accuracy in data entry will be crucial for success in this role.
Your Responsibilities
1. Provide effective and efficient administrative services, working closely with the team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
2. Manage site purchasing, including procurement of office supplies and maintaining the administrative requirements of the site vehicle fleet.
3. Ensure prompt and accurate processing of ingoing and outgoing mail.
4. Prepare and format documents and reports as required, using your knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
5. Coordinate meetings, medical bookings, and other relevant appointments.
Requirements
* Previous experience working in an administration role in an industrial services setting is essential.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Absolutely essential: organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills.
* Proven experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite is highly advantageous.
