The Role Our client is looking for a Senior AWS Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer to design, build and secure large-scale cloud environments that support critical national technology platforms. You’ll work across engineering, architecture and security teams to deliver resilient, automated cloud capabilities in highly regulated environments. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, building scalable AWS platforms, and improving the way teams deploy and operate software through automation, DevOps practices and strong security controls. What you’ll do? Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure aligned to security and compliance requirements Build and manage multi-account AWS environments using Control Tower and Terraform Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and GitOps deployment workflows Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve delivery speed and reliability Build and maintain DevSecOps tooling including security scanning and pipeline controls Design secure networking architecture including VPCs, firewalls and connectivity patterns What we'd love to see? Strong AWS platform engineering experience across multi-account environments Deep knowledge of services such as IAM, Organizations, Control Tower, VPC and Lambda Strong Terraform experience building modules and managing infrastructure at scale Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into pipelines Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps or tools such as ArgoCD Experience with AWS security tooling such as GuardDuty, Security Hub and CloudTrail Python or scripting experience for automation and platform tooling If you’re passionate about building secure, scalable cloud platforms and enjoy solving complex engineering problems, we’d love to hear from you.
