Senior Accountant Role in Private Clients
Description:
A position has become available within our Private Clients team. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to contribute their expertise and knowledge to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare special purpose financial statements and analyse the results for clients
* Understand legal and taxation issues associated with structures such as companies, trusts and self-managed super funds
* Prepare income tax returns and business activity statements
* Understand and utilise various accounting software packages
* Prepare periodic management accounts for clients
* Conduct and prepare some basic tax research and taxation advice
* Draft correspondence for key managerial staff within our client base
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require exceptional analytical and report writing skills with a consultative style and manner. You will also need to possess:
* Completed CA or CPA qualifications
* Exemplary Private Client accounting skills with exposure to tax and advisory services
* Good communication skills dealing with clients
* Able to delegate and manage junior staff
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
* Strong desire to learn and grow technically
