About Our Client

This firm is currently looking for an motivated Payroll Officer to join their supportive team during a period of change, on a temporary basis, as soon as possible.
The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a close-knit supportive team, you will be responsible for:
o Fortnightly payroll processing for 800+ employees
o PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
o Processing terminations and payroll adjustments
o Interpreting numerous awards and EBAs
o Providing accurate information in response to employee queries
o Additional tasks to assist your payroll colleagues
The Successful Applicant Will Have
o Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position
o Ability to hit the ground running and work collaboratively
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
o Positive can-do attitude
o Prior experience using TechnologyOne is highly advantageous
