**About the Organisation**:
Our client is a Community Services organisation that delivers innovative employment and training solutions through state and federal government funded programs. With a commitment to customer choice, coupled with a collegiate approach across the business, this organisation creates new possibilities for its clients and ultimately changes the lives of people who face considerable challenges every day.

**About the role**:
In this key role you will lead a bid management team to support and deliver on the organisation's strategic objectives and growth plans through government procurement.

With a commercial focus and a propensity to drive new ideas, you will also be required to identify and engage with external strategic stakeholders and create new strategic partnerships. The role will require a degree of agility and a need to adapt to change quickly, whilst constantly striving for continuous improvement.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Experience in identifying, developing, managing and winning complex multi-faceted government tender responses with a focus on commercial outcomes
- Knowledge of federal and state government procurement processes and business development via competitive tendering, ideally in Employment Services or Education and Training via the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE)
- Proven ability to identify relevant growth opportunities in line with the overall business objectives
- Experience analysing demographic data, market share, regional coverage, and financial information to decipher key information for tenders
- Extensive experience engaging with strategic partners such as government, community and corporate business in order to develop new commercial models through partnerships
- Experience managing feedback and bid reviews to support future submissions, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or related business discipline, or extensive relevant business experience
