Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditions Perform triage assessments and prioritise care based on acuity and clinical need Respond rapidly to deteriorating patients and assist in resuscitations and emergency interventions Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage wound care and medical equipment Collaborate with doctors, allied health, and other nursing staff to ensure cohesive patient care Accurately document patient assessments and interventions using ieMR Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge planning Contribute to clinical handovers and participate in shift briefings and team discussions Adhere to Queensland Health policies, clinical protocols, and infection control standards Skills & Experience Required: Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (unrestricted) Minimum 2 years recent experience in an Emergency Department Strong skills in triage, resuscitation, and acute care management Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification Proficiency in ieMR (Integrated Electronic Medical Record) is highly desirable Excellent critical thinking and clinical judgement Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment Current Police Clearance, immunisation record (incl.
