Overview
Part-time (0.5FTE) Research Assistant position in the Indigenous Epidemiology and Health Unit, School of Population and Global Health, Albany, Western Australia.
Fixed term until 31 December ****.
Salary:Level A – $87,266–$118,416 p.a. (pro rata) plus 17% super.
Eligibility

Responsibilities
Coordinating research operations: assist in planning, implementing and managing day-to-day research activities, including data collection and analysis.
Engaging with community stakeholders, liaising with community members to ensure culturally respectful and safe research practices.
Preparing research documentation: draft research documents, ethics applications and disseminate findings at community levels.
Maintaining stakeholder relationships, fostering ongoing partnerships and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
Current or pending Master's degree with a focus on Indigenous health or a related field.
Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an Indigenous perspective.
Experience engaging with community members and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals.
