About the Role
As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for:
* Supervising a team of engineers in the development of software components for the Saab 9LV Combat Management System.
* Leading the execution of software development processes and plans.
* Maintaining and improving legacy software components and associated engineering documentation.
* Ensuring the accuracy and regular updating of Jira tickets, effort logs, and time estimates.
Additionally, you will:
* Actively manage team member performance by setting goals and providing regular feedback.
* Carry out software engineering tasks in accordance with Saab Australia and Australian Defence policies.
This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in Test Automation and Formal Test Events.
* Fluency in at least one programming language (Python or Java).
* Proficiency in procedural and object-oriented programming paradigms.
* Knowledge of agile methodologies and systems engineering practices.
