Supervisor/Estimator | New South Wales (Central Coast/ Newcastle)
Join Bay Building Services as a Supervisor/Estimator responsible for estimating and delivering repairs for domestic and commercial construction projects across NSW. This role reports to the State Manager.

About the Role
Open to applicants based in New South Wales (Central Coast/ Newcastle). The Supervisor is required to estimate and deliver repairs for multiple, small, medium and large construction repairs, working alongside the Project Coordinator. Key responsibilities include preparing budgets, tendering, engaging trades, managing sites, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. Work from home with Sydney office attendance once per fortnight after training.
Key Activities
* Compile and deliver detailed scope of works.
* Prepare accurate budget breakdowns for tendering and profitable delivery.
* Plan, schedule, and manage multiple construction repairs.
* Ensure trades/suppliers adhere to purchase orders, SOWs, and quote requests.
* Maintain construction schedules and budgets.
* Engage new trades and suppliers via procurement process.
* Implement and monitor safety processes.
* Forecast and achieve monthly completion targets.
* Ensure understanding of construction process, inspection points, permits, WHS, building codes, Australian standards.
* Provide accurate progress updates internally and externally.
Key Professional Skills and Qualifications
* Solid construction supervision experience in domestic and commercial repairs.
* Proven skills in construction estimating for building repairs.
* Experience working directly with clients, consultants, and trades.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities.
* Strong verbal and written communication.
* Interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships.
* Business development mindset through quality service delivery.
* Experience in the insurance repair industry is beneficial.
* Knowledge of building codes and Australian standards.
