We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our on-site maintenance team at Launceston Airport, working on automated and mechanical systems that are critical to airport operations.

About the role

Typical Responsibilities include
* Participate in the effective and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all Baggage Handling System equipment.
* Follow maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns.
* Troubleshooting malfunctions, faults, jams and breakdowns and performing the necessary repairs to restore full functionality.
* Participating in a rotating shift roster
Your qualifications and experience will include:
* Electrical Trade qualifications (Essential)
* Experience in maintenance of equipment, including automated systems, such as conveyor or material handling systems.
* Experience in mechanical drives, including gearboxes, conveyor belting
* Experience working through preventative maintenance schedules
* Requirement for a current and clear driver's license.
