A great lifestyle in a treasured environment, this is life at PSC! The opportunity Port Stephens Compliance Team are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual to offer high level support to our Compliance Team on a permanent full-time basis. 
Our Compliance Support Officers are key to the day-to-day running of our wider team, being the first point of contact for customer requests. You will triage, review, and respond to matters regarding Environmental Health, Ranger and Compliance operations, as well as play a key role when it comes to receiving, coordinating, and assisting with the assessment and approval of applications in accordance with relevant legislative requirements. 
Please Note: For the purpose of recruitment, the title of Administration Officer - Compliance has been used to reflect the equivalent industry title. Internally the official title of this position is Compliance Support Officer. 
This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time working 35 hours / week + access to a adaptable working arrangement. Base Salary Range: $67,628 - $74,612 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance. You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace. 
Some of the key responsibilities within this role are: 
- Coordinate and process customer requests and enquiries, ensuring timely and professional service. 
- Manage correspondence, records and databases to keep workflows accurate and efficient. 
- Support the Compliance Coordinator and Team Leaders with reports, documentation and day-to-day operations.

- Tertiary qualification/studying in a relevant field and/or relevant experience. 
- Demonstrated experience in using the Microsoft suite of products at an advanced level. 
- Experience in working in a professional office environment. 
- Ability to work as a team in a high-volume work area. 
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
