About the role
The Graduate School of Medicine is seeking to employ a qualified medical practitioner with current registration and clinical practice, to contribute to the development and implementation of teaching and learning experiences for medical students to learn clinical skills and competencies related to patient care within the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.
The role involves working as part of an interprofessional team to design curriculum and learning experiences, facilitate small group teaching, and assess OSCEs in conjunction with clinical and assessment leads.
This teaching intensive role works closely to support the Academic Lead for the curriculum theme of Clinical Practice in the MD program and will contribute to clinical skills curriculum review activities as part of monitoring and evaluation activities. This position also includes contribution to leadership activities and to medical education research and scholarship.
Special Position Requirements
* Qualified medical graduate with unrestricted medical registration in New South Wales (without conditions on registration) including vocational qualifications and /or Fellowship and recent professional practice.
* Current APHRA medical practitioner registration with Fellowship and/or Vocational Registration (or eligibility for same), with recent active clinical practice in Australia.
