As a Construction Surveillance Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and high-quality delivery of infrastructure projects to the community. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and supervising capital works and sub-divisional construction, ensuring compliance with standards, specifications, and safety requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Construction surveillance of sub-divisional developments.
- Construction supervision of capital works projects.
- Project and contract management of Council's capital works projects.
- Ensure construction sites comply with safety and environmental standards.
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Investigation and review of construction industry developments.
- Technical investigation and negotiation of construction issues.
**About You**:
- Relevant experience in civil infrastructure construction supervision, especially in drainage and road pavement.
- Experience in supervising Contractors and negotiating construction and contractual matters.
- WorkSafe Victoria OH&S construction induction white card.
- Understanding of Quality Assurance (desirable).
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Municipal Works Supervisors Certificate, or equivalent (desirable).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
