Add expected salary to your profile for insightsLGWR is a family-owned land clearing, mulching and mining contractor with operations across the NTThe team is made up of 40 employees and one of our current key projects involves delivering transport, earthworks and land clearing/mulching services on a mine siteWe require several experienced MC Truck Drivers to support our growing haulage programAbout the RoleSafely operate MC road trains (side tippers) within a mine site, as well as on public roadsComplete daily pre-start inspections, handle basic on-road troubleshooting and complete accurate dockets/site paperworkFollow daily route/haulage instructions, traffic management plans and site rulesMaintain basic housekeeping of trucks and yard areas and report defects promptly to Workshop Supervisor via digital channelsAbout YouCurrent MC Licence (essential) with proven road train experience—mining/civil/remote haulage highly regardedStrong safety focus; reliable, self-sufficient and comfortable in remote environmentsAbility to complete digital forms (pre-start inspections/defect reporting) and follow radio commsWhite Card (or willingness to obtain) and ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screeningBasic loader experience (desirable)About the OfferImmediate start2:1 roster; 12 hour shifts and accommodation/meals suppliedFIFO from Darwin, Brisbane or Cairns (other locations considered for the right candidate)Casual employment with competitive rates/conditions and fortnightly payWell-maintained up-to-date fleet; supportive team culture and opportunities across multiple NT projectsPPE providedHow to ApplyEmail your application to (emailprotected).
