Detailed Description
Our client manufactures and supplies quality drilling equipment to the Australian and international drilling industry, serving clients from large multi‐national drilling and mining companies to local family‐owned drilling contractors. The business now has 50+ employees and is transitioning from Account Right MYOB to ODOO.
Responsibilities
* Advise the existing 1.5 accounts persons on correct account coding for meaningful reporting
* Perform high‐level month‐end entries
* Improve monthly management reports
* Coordinate with external accountant and key financial stakeholders
* Report directly to the managing director
Skills & Experience
* 5 or more years of experience in commerce, preferably in manufacturing or warehouse logistics
* CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification
* Experience with accounting software (MYOB, ODOO) and basic regular reports (P&L, AP, AR, payroll, cash‐flow forecasting)
* Assistance with cost centres and profit centres during growth
