This industry leading company based in Sydney's Hills District is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their team. This business is passionate about what they do and embrace new approaches to work and learning. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.
Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager your duties will include but are not limited to:
Assist the Payroll Manager with a variety of payroll functions.
Contribute and collaborate with the greater Finance Team.
Ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity of payroll systems to ensure staff are paid correctly.
Maintain records to substantiate payroll transactions for auditing and compliance.
Act as the communication link between the organisation, clients, employees, and the industry network.
Assist with the operation and maintenance of the organisations payroll systems, ADP and Payforce.
Calculation and payment of payroll liabilities for both State and Federal agencies, including PAYG tax, payroll tax and superannuation.
Monthly financial reporting and reconciliation.
Ensure protection of confidential payroll data.
Profile
As an ideal applicant, you will have:
Cert Qualification in Payroll or extensive experience in a medium to large high volume payroll environment (highly desired).
Experience in Managed services, (Bureau) Payroll's using ADP or similar.
Previous exposure and use of Time & Attendance systems, Procura or Kronos.
Experience with Microsoft Suite.
High level of verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable working autonomously and in a team.
Ability and willingness to embrace change.
Current National Police Clearance.
Full Australian Working Rights.
Current COVID-19 vaccinations.
