This role involves providing specialist anaesthetic services for obstetric and gynaecological patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Pre-anaesthetic patient preparation and participation in pre-anaesthetic clinics
* Providing pain relief services for labouring women
* Delivering anaesthesia for elective and emergency O&G surgeries
* Supervising and training anaesthetic registrars in line with the ANZCA curriculum
* Ensuring patient care aligns with evidence-based best practices
* Contributing to effective multidisciplinary teamwork
