GLG NSW is seeking a Groundsperson for work maintaining horticultural assets for various clients in Riverina & South West NSW, completing all sites to a monthly schedule. The successful applicant will be required to complete extensive driving each week including staying away each week.
The main duties and responsibilities for the Groundsperson position include, but are not limited to:
* undertaking general grounds maintenance duties, ensuring the expected standard of work is maintained at all times;
* duty to include, but not limited to: mowing, edging, snipping, weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, sweeping, litter collection, cleaning and/or any other gardening, property or turf related tasks associated with grounds & cleaning maintenance;
* ensuring the safe operation and transportation of vehicle, plant and/or equipment, including performing routine checks;
* must be willing to travel 3 or 4 nights per week (expenses and accommodation paid for)
The successful applicant will be required to travel throughout Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Deniliquin, Albury, Hay, Hillston and various other locations in the Riverina & South West NSW region completing works for numerous clients. Works include general grounds maintenance, herbicide spraying and minor cleaning.

What you need
* 3 + years' experience in grounds maintenance, including associated plant and equipment. Must be able to operate Z turn mowers
* Must be willing to travel 3 or 4 nights per week (expenses and accommodation paid for)
* Current manual LR driver's licence (must have)
* Construction Safety White Card (must have)
* First Aid Certificate (advantageous)
* Chemical application license (advantageous)
* Police Check within last 12 months (must have or willing to obtain)
