Psychology Role Overview

As a Psychologist, you will work with an interdisciplinary team to support children and young people with diverse needs and their families.
You will collaborate closely with preschool and school staff, as well as parents, to develop evidence-based psychology interventions tailored to individual learning and home contexts.
This position operates under the professional guidance of the Senior Psychologist.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement psychology interventions for children and young people with complex needs
* Collaborate with preschool and school staff, and parents to adapt strategies for learning and home contexts
* Work under the professional guidance of the Senior Psychologist
* Prioritize cultural safety and responsiveness in practice
Qualifications and Skills:
* Current full registration (general) with the Psychology Board of Australia
Working Arrangements:
* Multiple vacancies available
* Initial 12-month term contract with possibility of extension
* Position can be based at Port Pirie or Kadina
* Flexible working arrangements may be negotiated
