Role Description:
Junior Retail Salesperson for Musical Instruments & Print Music Super Star
This is a part-time, on-site Retail Salesperson role based in Carlingford, NSW. The Retail Junior Salesperson will assist customers with their musical instrument and print music purchases, provide knowledgeable support and advice, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include managing sales transactions, maintaining organised product displays, and delivering excellent customer service to meet the needs of both individuals and institutions.

Core Responsibilities
* Customer Assistance:

* Product Knowledge:
Demonstrating basic features of instruments (guitars, brass, strings) and explaining specifications to beginners.
* Transaction Handling:
Processing sales, returns, and exchanges at the cash register with accuracy.
* Store Maintenance:
Unpacking new deliveries, restocking shelves, organising print music displays, and ensuring the showroom remains clean and welcoming.
* Instrument Care:
Performing basic instrument setups, such as restringing guitars or tuning display models.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
* Musical Ability:
Practical performance skills in at least one instrument category (e.g., piano, guitar, or woodwind) is highly preferred for demonstrations.
* Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills to provide "sales service and free musical advice" as per the company's customer-focused philosophy.
* Education:
Currently pursuing or having completed a relevant qualification in music or a related field.
* Attributes:
High level of punctuality, enthusiasm, and a "passion for music".
