Key Role in Kitchen Operations
We are seeking a skilled kitchen team member to join our dining services at Palm Lake Resort Bargara.
This permanent part-time role offers 15 hours per week, working fixed rosters on Tuesday and Thursday dinner service (5pm-8:30pm) and Wednesday & Friday lunch service (10:30am-2:30pm).
1. Key Responsibilities:
* Meal preparation and plating
* Serving meals to residents
* Ensure all food preparation areas meet high hygiene standards
* Assist the chef with meal preparation
* General cleaning of kitchen and surrounding areas
* Effective management of waste disposal
2. Requirements:
* Previous experience as a kitchen hand
* Current Food Handling certificate
* Strong time management and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and achieve set targets
