Middlemount Mine is an open-cut mine located approximately 90km North-East of Emerald and only about 7km out of town!
Your new role
Secure a permanent position within our well-established maintenance department at Middlemount Mine in the Bowen Basin. Working a 7/7 rotating roster duties include
- Machine maintenance, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnostics, PM servicing, daily refueling and inspections
- Ability to work day and night shifts
- Execute planned repairs within time and cost requirements
- Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
- Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic)
- Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Queensland driver licence
- Experience with heavy earth moving equipment
