Excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef to join the growing kitchen team at Parry St Garage.
Key Requirements for the position are:
- Train junior kitchen staff
- Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitude
- Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service
- Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality
- Assist the Head Chef overseeing kitchen operations.
- Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.
- Training junior staff to prepare for the shift and cook all the menu items.
- Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
- Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
Qualifications required - Relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2); At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
Permanent full-time role with a starting salary of $76K - $86K Salary (plus super).
