Primary objective
Assist with theoffice management for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and ensure the delivery of
efficient facilities for all corporate support services, while managing day-to-day tasks and administration services.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the Business Support team across corporate services functions, including accounts
payable, travel management and procurement, ensuring compliance with financial governance requirements.
1. Demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation, with a proven ability to work independently and deliver
outcomes within agreed timeframes.
3. Support Human Resource Management activities, including recruitment processes and orientation.
4. Assist in delivering an efficient and effective travel management service, including acting as backup for the Travel
Manager and coordinating travel arrangements for staff and external parties in accordance with the NTG Travel Policy.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Proven capacity to deliver effective office management services, supported by a demonstrated ability to interpret and
apply relevant legislation, guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
2. Demonstrated proficiency across a broad range of computer applications, including advanced capability in office
automation and business systems such as the Microsoft Office suite, electronic records management systems, travel
management platforms, and integrated accounting programs including NTG Pay, Expense8 and eRecruit (or similar).
1. Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex remote travel and logistical arrangements efficiently and accurately.
2. Proven experience supporting recruitment and selection processes, in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
3. Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective workflow management in a
busy, high-pressure environment.
6. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, both independently and collaboratively, as a member of a high
performing team.
Desirable
1. Knowledge of the role and functions of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
