About This Role
The Media and Communications Coordinator is a key position that plays a pivotal role in delivering our media strategy, sharing vital road safety messages and organisational updates with the community through various media channels.
Responsibilities:
* Developing Key Messages: Create and disseminate media releases, responses, and key messages to effectively communicate our organisational updates.
* Media Event Coordination: Coordinate and manage media events, liaise with journalists and ministerial media advisors to ensure successful event outcomes.
* Media Support: Provide support for multimedia production, oversee media monitoring, and assist in briefing TAC spokespeople.
This dynamic and fast-paced role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, an understanding of the media landscape, and the ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
