About the Role
The SLHD End of Life Care Coordinator (EoLCC) is a dynamic position responsible for clinical leadership, safety, quality improvement and education to support the delivery of end of life care across the SLHD. The position will provide expert consultancy and education to facilitate evidence‐based practices and advanced care planning. They will also ensure the delivery of high‐quality, person‐centred systems to enhance end of life care.
Ideal Candidate
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with minimum five (5) years full‐time equivalent post‐registration experience, with at least three (3) years experience in specialty field in either Palliative Care/Cancer Care/Advanced Nursing or Aged Care.
* Demonstrable competency in clinical teaching and presentation skills to reach a broad range of literacy levels.
* A passion for the delivery of quality end‐of‐life across SLHD.
