What you'll do
Reporting to the State Asset and Facilities Manager VIC, you will support the planning and delivery of asset management services and projects for the GLM program, including contractor procurement and performance, maintenance programming, compliance activities and accurate asset data and reporting.
* Plan, schedule and monitor cyclical and planned maintenance, inspections and compliance works across GLM sites.
* Procure, onboard, coordinate and manage contractor performance (including KPI reviews) across maintenance and facilities services.
* Maintain high-quality asset and maintenance data, reporting and analysis to support portfolio decisions and service delivery.
* Support asset management plans and ensure alignment with CHL policies, relevant regulations and applicable Australian Standards.
* Coordinate contractor site access and inductions, and provide guidance on CHL systems and requirements.
* Assist with facilities reporting, budgets and cost management for GLM facilities.
* Lead new build handovers and manage defects through the defects liability period (DLP), including maintaining a controlled defects register and escalating overdue items.
What you'll bring
* Post-trade Certificate IV qualification or equivalent trade/industry experience (community housing sector desirable).
* Experience in asset planning, facilities management, maintenance planning and/or contractor management.
* Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards in residential facilities/asset management and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency with asset management tools and software, and strong capability in data quality, reporting and analysis.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
* Sound understanding of best-practice social housing asset management, policy and legislation.
* Green/White Card (WHS construction induction) or ability to obtain.
* Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing and alignment with CHL values.
* Current Driver's Licence (mandatory).
