Financial Analyst Aviation Procurement and Airbase Leasing

The Financial Analyst - Aviation Procurement and Airbase Leasing will provide high-quality financial, administrative, and analytical services to support the delivery of Aviation Services. This role includes detailed analysis of costs related to aerial firefighting, including tender costs analysis for aircraft and airbases. The role also involves detailed reporting on costs associated with contracted aircraft for land management activities, aircraft usage, invoicing across multiple agencies, airbase upgrades, running costs, invoicing, business case financials, as well as forecasting and spend analysis for the Aviation Services Unit.
Key skills include, but are not limited to, proficiency in ARENA, MACs, Oracle, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze detailed financial information and present findings to stakeholders and regional areas. The role also requires providing subject matter expertise related to airbase leases and licences.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial management and relevant software.
* Relevant qualifications related to business management are desirable.
* Knowledge of airbase asset management and leasing arrangements is an advantage.
This is an ongoing position. The work location is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne, with hybrid work arrangements available.
