About the Role
As the Management Accountant, you will work within the broader finance team to drive timely reporting to agency Managing Directors. Reporting directly to an experienced leader in the sector, you will be responsible for monthly management reporting and collaborating on ongoing change management projects to improve operations across the network.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, management reports and commentary for divisions.
* Preparing Group Reports and commentary.
* Partnering with agency leads on revenue and expense information.
* Preparing and lodging BAS returns as required.
* Being the main point of contact with external auditors.
* Partnering with agency leads in preparing annual budgets, analysing performance and adjusting forecasts when required for Group.
* Providing ad-hoc finance and analytical support to senior stakeholders when required.
* Ad-hoc duties as they arise.
About You
For success in this role, you will have strong analytical, time management, organisational, and communication skills and will have a proactive and positive approach to solving problem. In addition, you will have:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience of working within a professional services environment, ideally within the Business Services / Outsourcing division of a Top 20 firm.
* A proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders.
* CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
* Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
* Experience of using Sage and a proven ability of learning and adapting to different finance systems.
* An innovative approach to problems – someone who likes to 'see it and sort it'.
