About the Opportunity
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing our market‐leading investment process, we are expanding our Corporate Credit and Bank Capital team in Melbourne.
We are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst/Manager to act as a sector specialist, delivering credit insights and trade recommendations across Australian and global corporate credit, across the debt capital structure and multiple currencies.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct top‐down research and forecasting across assigned sectors and markets.
Perform bottom‐up credit analysis (including ESG assessment) and monitor news flow for Australian and global corporates.
Manage security and risk positions within your sector or issuer coverage.
Deliver tactical and issuer‐specific investment recommendations to the portfolio management team.
Publish credit insights and research, and engage actively with corporate issuers and sell‐side participants.
Support team members and collaborate with other business units as required.
Undertake project work and ad‐hoc tasks as required.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 5–12 years in a top‐tier research environment, ideally in buy‐side, sell‐side, or ratings agency roles.
Financial Knowledge: Strong interest in financial markets, familiarity with Australian/global corporates and sectors, and a solid understanding of global rating agency methodologies.
Analytical & Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, highly analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex analysis into clear, concise insights.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills suited to a market‐facing role.
Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills, including the ability to build and maintain detailed sector and company financial models.
Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications; CFA designation preferred.
