A Facility Operations Center Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of data centers worldwide, guaranteeing continuous access to innovation for our customers. This position requires collaboration across teams and expertise in both data center IT infrastructure and facilities infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor Amazon’s global data center facilities and infrastructure platform.
* Serve as a point of contact for internal and external teams.
* Develop communication and escalation protocols to improve team performance.
* Contribute to outage post-mortem analysis.
* Ensure records are updated in a timely manner.
* Coordinate emergency recovery efforts with excellent communication skills.
