What you'll do
As a Trainee Resource Recovery, you’ll work alongside a passionate team, gaining practical experience in all aspects of waste management. From accepting and processing materials, managing the weighbridge, to sorting recyclables and removing contamination, every day brings a new opportunity to learn and grow.
You’ll also complete a Certificate III in Waste Management, with all practical training provided on-site under the guidance of experienced mentors. This is your chance to build valuable skills, gain real-world experience, and start a career in an industry that makes a tangible difference to the setting. If you’re curious, motivated, and ready to get stuck in, this role is your first step towards becoming a skilled waste management professional.

What you'll need to succeed
- Enrolled or willingness to enrol and undertake a Certificate III in Waste Management
- A genuine interest in Waste Management / Resource Recovery field
- Suitable literacy, numeracy, to fulfill the and educational, professional requirements of the traineeship.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience / knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to follow instructions and directions.
- Willingness to work in an outdoor environment.
- Being able to demonstrate the physical requirements of the role as detailed in the position description.
- Be willing to undergo a pre‑employment medical prior to commencement
