About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Senior Buyer to join our esteemed clients team based in Adelaide. This position is based on a Monday to Friday full-time roster, commencing from June 2026.
Duties and responsibilities
Manage end‐to‐end procurement in line with the project Procurement Execution Plan.
Issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and lead commercial negotiations.
Prepare and administer purchase orders and contract variations.
Coordinate with engineering, expediting, and logistics teams.
Monitor vendor performance, delivery, and schedule risks.
Maintain procurement records and system compliance.
Ensure adherence to project governance and Australian regulatory requirements.
Skills and experience required
10 years' experience in procurement within EPC/EPCM or large capital project environments.
Proven ability to procure engineered equipment, bulk materials, and services.
Solid commercial and negotiation skills with attention to cost and contractual terms.
Experience managing vendors and resolving commercial or delivery issues.
Familiarity with procurement systems and processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, logistics, and project teams.
